Terms of use

The service
Desklate converts mixing console show files from one console format to another. Conversions are approximations: consoles do not share identical processing, and some settings cannot be carried over. Every conversion comes with a report of what was rounded or left out.
Your files
You keep all rights to the show files you upload and to the files we produce from them. Files are processed in memory to produce the preview and the download, and are not stored afterwards. Only upload files you are entitled to use.
Check before you perform
Always open a converted file in the target console's offline editor and check routing, gain and outputs before using it with a live audience. Desklate is not responsible for damage, lost performances or equipment problems caused by using a converted file without checking it.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- access the service with scripts, bots or other automated means, or send requests in bulk;
- attempt to reverse engineer, extract, copy or reproduce the conversion logic, format mappings or software behind the service, including by systematically submitting files to study its output;
- resell, rebrand or offer the service to others, or build a competing service from its output;
- interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or bypass its limits or payment.
We may limit or block access that breaks these terms.
Ownership
The Desklate name, website and software are owned by their operator and protected by copyright. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Console and brand names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe file compatibility; Desklate is not affiliated with any console manufacturer.
Payments and refunds
Paid conversions are charged per show file. If a converted file does not load on the target console, contact us and we will refund the conversion.
